Me – The Person
I have described myself as a teacher and as an artist, so maybe I should describe just me. I am Samantha Douglas, born September 12, 1990. I have lived in a small town, and I have lived in Moose Jaw. My family is very important to me, as are my friends. I’m quite weird, but have a sense of humour that is easy to associate with. I am usually long winded so I am trying to keep this to the point.
I like math, baseball, music, art, dance, hockey, education, movies and much more.
I speak my mind, I talk a lot, and i laugh for at least thirty minutes a day. I try to stay positive, but its hard sometimes. I have an eclectic set of interests and find ways to connect with people through them. I am a very social person, but only have a few people close to me.
I am me.
I don’t know how else to explain myself. I feel passionately about many topics and I enjoy reflecting on these to justify my thoughts. If I am going to have an opinion on something, I am going to be able to back up my thoughts. I try to keep in mind treating people with respect, especially myself.
I like realizing the areas I have grown in. Reflecting on the progress I have made, and the opinions I have changed and reformed. It reminds me that life is continously changing.
I love to sing. I love to dance. I love to talk to people.
I find words to be very powerful, and quotations to be very important.
“Life is a series of images that repeat themselves” – Andy Warhol
That is basically me.
I like me.
I hope that you can get a sense of who I am through my blog.
Thanks for listening,
Samantha Douglas.

Glad you like you. You’re the one person you can never get away from.
It sounds like we have a lot in common…except for the math part! I think we would be friends.
I enjoy your blog.
One question, where is Moose Jaw?
All the best!
Becky
Becoming ‘freshly pressed’ with the 100% post made me curious about you. So young and already so wise. Now math is not my cup of tea, but ‘laughing for at least thirty minutes a day’ surely is. Isn’t laughter the key to hapiness? Have a nice day in the Land of the Living Skies, Samantha, what ever that means

i’m new to wordpress.and your ‘Give 100 percent?’ was the first post that i have read here.Nice work. Keep thinking and posting!
Hi, Samantha, I liked your blog. I found it from googling the quote about fishes climbing trees. And your art is really nice. You seem to have all the atributes to make a good teacher. Could I make one suggestion? Maybe in your intro after “Moose Jaw” you could add it’s in Saskatchewan which is in central Canada. Some of us are stumbling on your site from as far away as Australia, so of course we go “Moose Jaw???” Best wishes for the future. – Richard.
